Dukes Creek Falls Reprise

In 2019, I returned to Dukes Creek Falls in my beloved North Georgia to take new pictures.

Some time back, I hiked down to Dukes Creek Falls, a beautiful series of cascades that one can get to off the Richard B. Russell Scenic Highway in North Georgia. After a hard drive incident, I lost the original pictures from that hike, so this was an opportunity for me to get some new shots.

This area of the North Georgia mountains will always hold a special place for me. There are plenty of hikes near this one that are more than worth checking out, including Blood Mountain, Raven Cliff Falls, Bear Hair Gap, and many sections of the Appalachian Trail, which begins around here. If you find yourself in the southeast and wanting either some challenging trails or just some easy walks, there’s something for you here.
